All Out of Smiles available for Download on MYSPACE!!

My song, “All Out of Smiles” is finally available for download on myspace. (www.myspace.com/emilyriesen) The song has received a large number of plays, so I’m praying that is a good forecast for the number of downloads that will be made. The proceeds made from “All Out of Smiles” will be donated to a wonderful charity of the Military Lifestyles Charitable Foundation. The specific charity is the USASOC Soldier, Family, and Command Support Association, which will provide financial help for families of our special operations forces. Hey everyone…

Thank you so much for your response to “All Out of Smiles”…I’m still blown away. I have had a lot of people ask me if we could get the song up for download and I was waiting for the right time and the right cause. I have found it! There is a charity that supports the USASOC (United States of America Special Operations Command). It is an amazing cause funded by the Military Families Lifestyle Charitable Foundation and primarily supports families who need financial help due to a husband or father serving oversees. The proceeds from the song’s downloads will be donated to the charity. I hope that when the song is posted for download I can help out this wonderful cause with your help. 5 New Songs Coming!

Finally, I have 5 new recordings that are almost finished. Here in a few weeks, be sure to check back at my website and my myspace to hear the new tracks. Each song is one that a I wrote by myself and is recorded with just my voice and the guitar. I hope that everyone can get a personal feel from my new material. Hey everyone,

I just wanted everyone to know how blown away I am by the number of listens the new song is getting! “All Out of Smiles” is a very meaningful song to me and to anyone who has a loved one fighting for our country. Initially I thought that the activity on my page would slow down after the first few weeks. But it hasn’t! I hope that you all know how thankful I am to see people listening to my music and checking in on my site. Moving to Nashville!

Hey guys,

I finally made the big move to Tennessee. I am loving Nashville. It is everything I expected and more. There is amazing talent every where that you look and millions of people to work with creatively. I have already made many great contacts and am learning every day from experienced music industry professionals. There is a great deal of hard work ahead, but I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me here.

Welcome!

Hey Y’all,

I’m just a small town country girl from southern Illinois. Music has been my life since I can remember and I can only pray that it will stay that way.

I’m constantly writing and am just starting to record a whole notebook of songs. Hopefully soon, I will have more for ya to listen to.

First of all I just want to thank everyone who continues to support my music. The fact that you keep checking my web site for updates, means more than you could ever know. Anyways, I just wanted to give you a quick update as to what is going on in my life. As far as the demo goes, it is coming along beautifully. It has been a long process, but every minute spent will be well worth it. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it. It will be available for sale within the next month. Anyone who is interested in purchasing it, please send me an e-mail with your address. We will get you a copy as soon as possible.

In addition to recording, I have been traveling back and forth to St. Louis to work with the new band. So far everything is sounding great and I expect to be posting concert dates very soon.
